Civil Rights

What is a civil rights case?

While there are many types of civil rights cases, Mr. Bullman specifically handles civil rights cases involving law enforcement officers and other government officials and particularly when that conduct results in the infringing upon a person’s constitutionally protected rights. He handles cases such as illegal searches, detentions and arrest, abuse in custody and personal injury, wrongful death, excessive force, sexual abuse and other violations of civil liberties. He has also handled cases such as failure of the FBI to catch serial killers and police departments with illegal quotas.

What should I do if I feel my rights have been violated?

If you feel that your civil rights or liberties have been violated, email us or give us a call right away. Mr. Bullman can help determine if you have a case and walk through how he can help you. It is important not to delay getting in touch with someone, if you feel your rights have been violated, as the law limits the time I which you can pursue a claim. In the meantime, make sure to keep records and other evidence safe and ready to share with the right attorney, to help evaluate and protect any claim you may have.

I never write reviews but Mr. Bullman deserves one..

When I first contacted Mr. Bullman’s office over 2 years ago, I knew instantly that I had found the best attorney available for me. My case was complicated but Mr. Bullman made sure that I understood everything that was happening. I sustained a closed head injury which made understanding the simplest things very difficult. With his patience, understanding, wit and wisdom, I never once felt alone or discarded. I felt as if my case was the only one he had to deal with which could not be further from the truth. My calls and texts were responded to very quickly and we tended to finish each interaction with a laugh. Mr. Bullman and his entire staff helped me through two very rough years. I knew I could count on him to get my case settled fairly and he did. He certainly made my life easier while I was at my worst and has given me the means and hope to find my new normal. I will be eternally grateful to Mr. Bullman and so thankful that he was relatable.  And, as a side note, he loves dogs which gave him a definite edge with me
