Civil Rights

What is a civil rights case?

While there are many types of civil rights cases, Mr. Bullman specifically handles civil rights cases involving law enforcement officers and other government officials and particularly when that conduct results in the infringing upon a person’s constitutionally protected rights. He handles cases such as illegal searches, detentions and arrest, abuse in custody and personal injury, wrongful death, excessive force, sexual abuse and other violations of civil liberties. He has also handled cases such as failure of the FBI to catch serial killers and police departments with illegal quotas.

What should I do if I feel my rights have been violated?

If you feel that your civil rights or liberties have been violated, email us or give us a call right away. Mr. Bullman can help determine if you have a case and walk through how he can help you. It is important not to delay getting in touch with someone, if you feel your rights have been violated, as the law limits the time I which you can pursue a claim. In the meantime, make sure to keep records and other evidence safe and ready to share with the right attorney, to help evaluate and protect any claim you may have.

Best of the best!!!

To say that Mr.Bullman was extremely helpful with my case is an understatement. Without Mark none of this would have been possible. He is an amazing lawyer and an even better person all around. Mr.Bullman and his Secretary Effie always kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. Never did I feel that I was left in the dark about anything. He treated my case with top priority. I highly recommend Mr.Bullman, it was an all-around amazing experience. He does not only treat you as another one of his clients but as a true friend. Mark, I can’t thank you enough for all of your help. Thank you so much!!
